Rats, sharp endless gnawing

Inside, upon the bones.

It rains today.


Barley, merely two

When I heard them say

The words condemning


Me to a life of pain.

The rain came

Again, the rain came


Again today. They came

To scrape away

My life


Bit by bit, chewing it,

Digesting bone,

Eating me away.


It rained today.
