Again
Into the fold, welcomed
And loved.
There were so many, unlike my small own.
So many to love.
Honest and dedicated
Devoted to their smiles.
Treasure their happy hearts.
Unlike my small own,
Who were never satisfied.
Into the fold, judged
And condemned.
In a seeming blink of an eye
So many changed.
Tossed out for being broken,
With not one question asked.
Not a single maybe considered,
Not one question did rise.
A silent cruel boot to the ass
Just like my small own.
