LEAVE NO STONE

From scribblings and scratches in worn weathered pages
dwindling interests give birth to my rages.
When all I have left is my withering leavings
Short on Ideas and grumbling grieving.
Felling from trees'es and adrift upon breezes.
Etched on by life and their killing diseases.
Searching for new life in corpses I find
swirlings and curling in impressive designs.
Spent my ambitions on glaze coated Inkings
Incan and Mayan and aztecian blinkings.
Impaired from the start but vision now clear
My sweat and my blood in a glistening tear.
Drop like a rock into pools of creation
immersing myself in a new situation.
Another good turn of transition has grown
and Etching my soul again now into stone.
Some rough and some polished a canvas of sort.
Shaped by the world and the rest I import.
I'm carving in colors to see what I find,
And dragging out artwork from corners of mind.
A stones throw away from eternity's door
and I know I should stop but I'm still craving more.

Leave no Stone unlearned.
